Starting up the LEEVAKU Hydroelectric Power Plant - Estonia
The start-up of the Leevaku (Estonia) Hydroelectric Power Plant has been completed, in which we installed a state-of-the-art horizontal Kaplan turbine with a rotor diameter of 1090 mm. The design parameters of the turbine set have been achieved at the expected nominal head of H=3.0. View the picture gallery.
Starting up the Drozdy Hydroelectric Power Plant - Belarus
The start-up of the Drozdy (Belarus) Hydroelectric Power Plant has been completed, in which we installed four turbines (rotor diameter d = 830 mm) with vertical shafts, powered with siphon pipelines. The plant was built on an existing weir – a very unique architectural and engineering concept involving the installation of two turbines on the left bank and the other two on the right bank of the weir. Furthermore, it is possible to reach other river bank via a specially designed bridge, which is also a part of the plant building. View the picture gallery.
Delivery of an elbow suction pipe for the NOVOLABUN Hydroelectric Power Plant - Ukraine
At the end of July, we will deliver a new elbow suction pipe for the Kaplan turbine to the Novolabun plant (Ukraine). Installation of the suction pipe and completion of heavy construction works (rebuilding the weir, inlet duct and plant building) are planned till the end of September 2011. View the picture gallery.
The first Ukraine project initiated – Novolabun hydroelectric power plant upgrade
The rebuilding of Novolabun hydroelectric plant in Ukraine has begun. The upgrade concept was worked out by our company. The plant upgrade consists in replacing the old Francis turbine to a modern Kaplan turbine with vertical shaft. The plant building, inlet duct and weir will be rebuilt thoroughly.
