In late Septemeber, installation works in Chańcza hydroelectric power plant (Poland) have finished. The turbine operated there, with rotor diameter d = 590 mm, achieved the assumed design specifications. The maximum head of the turbine is 11.9 m. This particularly interesting facility uses water accumulated in Chańcza reservoir. The hydroelectric turbine is supplied with one of the bottom outlets with diameter d = 1400 mm - we have designed and manufactured a compensator with diameter reduction from 1400 to 900 mm, to which a DN900 knife valve is bolted, revision manhole and Kaplan turbine set.

In addition to the turbine set, DN1400 compensator, DN900 knife valve and the revision manhole, we delivered also a 160 kW asynchronous generator, hydraulic equipment, electrical equipment and automation system (with remote access via Internet and SMS messaging system).
