At October 2015, installation works were finished in Gubyn hydroelectric power plant (Ukraine).

The turbine operated there, with rotor diameter d = 1250 mm, achieved the assumed design specifications. The design of the turbine with a vertical shaft in a pressure chamber is specific for an external control system, so there are no movable parts immersed in water. The entire control gear is located in the turbine cover and is accessible from the engine room. Therefore, the durability and reliability of this solution is incomparably better than in the old solutions, in which that mechanism is located in water and, does not ensure trouble-free operation over the years, even though stainless steel components are used.
